a. Why is XL Homes using a network scanner?
NetScan uses Network Scanner they use it for advertising to create brochures for newspaper and magazines and wherever they do there advertising. and also for theme to manage time in scanning, Without a network scanner, XL Homes had to designate one employee to handle all the scanning responsibilities. "It was very time-consuming and it was very costly to have one person just doing that all the time.

b. What are the benefits and limitations of a network scanner versus individual desktop scanners for business PC users?

The benefits of having a network scanner simply it save time and less expenses for the company and the limitations for the network scanner you cannot scan in your own because you have no scanner.
